Changing the map display

- Changing the display changes what kind of information can be viewed. The Basemap Display (the default startup view) shows general information about the map. The Thematic Displays (color coded) show the map categorized by land use, ownership, or wetlands. The Imagery Displays (both satellite and fixed wing) show either aerial photography or links to aerial photos. (note: access to the scanned photos and parcel labels will only be available when the zoom slider diamond is located at the third position from the top or less).
- When a thematic view is selected (Ownership, Landuse or Wetlands), a popup legend appears defining the color coding. This legend can be dismissed by clicking the X on the upper right hand side. To view the legend again, select the appropriate view from the Map Display drop down list.
- When trying to access the Air Photos remember the zoom slider level has to be at level three or less (same applies to the ‘Parcel Labels On’ or ‘Parcel Labels Off’ functionality.) An icon similar to this:
- Clicking the identify button then hovering over the icon will reveal the photo series. Clicking on the icon will bring up an attribute window with a button that when clicked, allows you to view the scanned photo (provided that you have down loaded the DJVU plug-in).
